Your Glow Begins with Grace

“God is within her, she will not fall” — Psalm 46:5

Sometimes we think we need the perfect moment, the perfect mindset, or the perfect motivation to begin—or try again. But the truth is, your glow doesn’t begin with perfection—it begins with grace.

Grace meets you right where you are. Whether that’s getting out of bed after a hard week, sitting on the couch trying to find your spark again to get in shape, or deciding to start over (for the fifth time this year), grace is there. It whispers, “Start from here.”

Because “start from where you are” doesn’t mean settling—it means trusting that everything you need is already within you, because God has already placed it there.

Every gift, every ounce of strength, every spark of creativity—it’s all already inside you. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to take the first step, trusting that God will meet you there.

This week, release the pressure to be perfect. Choose to begin again—with grace, faith, and peace. Your glow begins right there.

“Where can I show myself more grace this week?”

A Glow Lesson ✨

Recently, someone I thought was supportive accidentally sent a message that wasn’t meant for me. In a nutshell, this individual doubted my ability to glow at my goals because I’d talked about my goals in the past —but felt life “slowed me down.”

What this person didn’t know is that those same seasons they called slow were the ones God used to strengthen and shape me. I got married, became a mother, and nearly lost my life bringing my baby into this world — yet through it all, God kept me. He lifted me, positioned me, and blessed me with opportunities I once only dreamed of: promoting to Captain in the Air Force, serving at the Pentagon, and countless daily blessings — all while healing and growing in His grace.

So no, life didn’t slow me down. God was positioning me. His timing is perfect, and nothing and no one can stop the vision He placed within me from becoming what it’s meant to be.

The enemy loves to use moments like that — the whispers of doubt, comparison, and shame — to make us question what God has already confirmed. But that’s how I knew I was growing. Instead of letting her words get in my head or doubting myself, I paused and remembered: God’s hand has never left me.

Every promotion, every challenge, every pause, every comeback — it was all part of His process. What was meant to discourage me only reminded me that my story is still being written by the One who called me. So rather than respond in frustration, all I could say was, “But God.” 🙌🏾

So, watch me glow—gracefully, faithfully, and fearlessly. ✨

I’m grateful that moment revealed the truth—it reminded me that not everyone who claps for you is rooting for you. And that’s okay. Your glow doesn’t depend on outside approval; it’s built on faith, obedience, and grace.

Keep your eyes on God, stay rooted in grace, and your glow will follow.
