2025 Taught Me This: God Is Faithful
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
This year ends with gratitude, clarity, and trust.
My Word for 2026: Becoming
As 2025 comes to a close, I find myself pausing—not out of exhaustion, but out of gratitude.
This past Sunday, during church, something settled firmly in my spirit: I am ending this year in a far better place than I began it. And the truth is simple and undeniable—that is solely because of God.
“The Lord is faithful in all His words and gracious in all His works.” — Psalm 145:13
Reflection has always been how I close a year. I look back honestly, thank God intentionally, and prepare my heart for what’s ahead. It’s a rhythm I’ve come to trust. This year, that pause felt especially grounding—steady in a way that’s hard to explain but easy to recognize.
2025 didn’t break me—it refined me.
It didn’t rush me—it rooted me.
There were moments that required faith without clarity and trust without guarantees. Still, through it all, God’s presence never wavered.
Looking back now, I can see it clearly:
God wasn’t asking me to move faster.
He was teaching me to stand firm.

What 2025 Taught Me 🙏🏾
This year reminded me that healing isn’t linear—but it is sacred.
That obedience doesn’t need an audience to be powerful.
That slowing down can be an act of strength.
That surrender doesn’t diminish who you are—it deepens you.
“In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength.” — Isaiah 30:15
I learned that I don’t have to strive to be held—God already has me.
That rest isn’t a reward, it’s a rhythm.
That my glow doesn’t come from perfection, but from alignment.
And this one mattered deeply: strength and softness are not opposites.
I don’t have to choose one to honor the other. I’m allowed to be discerning and gentle, firm and compassionate—soft and strong at the same time.
Most of all, I learned that God restores what is tender when it’s placed in His hands—according to His timing, His wisdom, and His order.
Some prayers were answered quietly.
Some are still unfolding.
All were heard.
Ending the Year Whole 🧘🏾♀️
I didn’t end 2025 trying to explain myself. I didn’t end 2025 trying to explain myself. I ended it with clarity of heart.
More grounded.
More discerning.
More anchored in who God says I am.
And honestly? That matters more than anything visible.
Progress doesn’t always announce itself. Sometimes it looks like choosing peace and trusting God with the outcome. Like returning your attention to your healing instead of the noise around you. Like caring well for what God placed in your hands—your mind, your body, your heart—and letting Him handle the rest.
This Christmas was the most peaceful I’ve had in quite some time—quiet, joyful, full. That alone felt like confirmation.
And as the year closes, I’m stepping into New Year’s Eve and the year ahead with hope, expectancy, and calm confidence.
My Word for 2026: Becoming 🌿
As I step into 2026, the word resting on my heart is Becoming.
Not because I’m lacking—but because God is still expanding what already exists.
Over the past decade, He’s allowed me to become strong, faithful, resilient, and deeply rooted. I honor that woman. I carry her forward.
This next season isn’t about starting over.
It’s about continuing—intentionally.
Becoming more aligned.
Becoming more surrendered.
Becoming more present with my time, my energy, and my calling.
Becoming fully myself—soft and strong, together.
“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.” — Philippians 1:6
I don’t need to rush the process.
I trust the One who is writing it.
A Closing Blessing
If you’re ending this year holding both gratitude and hope… grounded in who you are while still open to what’s next—I see you.
And more importantly, God sees you.
May we enter 2026 honoring who we already are, while welcoming who God is still shaping us to be.
Here’s to becoming—again and again.
